Victoria Gutierrez

Victoria Gutierrez is the Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer of Sysco, the world’s foodservice leader. In this role, Victoria leads Sysco’s product growth strategy in the United States and works to enhance the customer experience through a full line of food products and a wide variety of non-food products to both independent and chain restaurant customers and other "away-from-home" locations such as healthcare and educational facilities.


Patty Trevino

Patty Trevino is the Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer for Red Lobster Seafood Company.
She is responsible for leading all marketing and culinary related activities for the world’s largest casual
dining seafood restaurant company which owns and operates restaurants throughout North America.


Paul Doremus, PhD

Paul Doremus is the Vice President for Policy and Sustainability Strategy at Trident Seafoods. In collaboration with Trident’s executive leadership team and functional area leaders, he is responsible for developing and executing the company’s federal and international policy strategy, contributing to Trident’s sustainability and social responsibility strategy, and advising on strategic developments in global seafood markets.


Jason Driskill

Jason Driskill is Vice President - Seafood for Texas-based retailer H-E-B with responsibilities over procurement, sales, merchandising, marketing and sustainability for fresh/frozen seafood and sushi.


Jim Motos

Jim Motos is the Senior Vice President of the Consumer Brands Division of Rich Products Corporation. He is a member of multiple industry boards and is passionate about educating Americans of the benefits of including seafood in their weekly diet.


Sonja Connor, MS, RDN, LD

Ms. Sonja Connor, MS, RDN, LD is a research associate professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Clinical Nutrition, Department of Medicine, School of Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University. She also has been very involved with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and served as president in 2014-15.


Judson Reis

Mr. Judson Reis is Past President & CEO of Gorton's Inc. located in Gloucester, MA and joined Gorton's in 1990. Judson has been a long-time proponent of building greater awareness of the health benefits of eating seafood.


Steve Hart, PhD

Dr. Steve Hart directs Global Aquaculture Alliance activities within Asia, leading efforts focused on development of food safety outreach, investigating emerging issues affecting aquaculture stakeholders, working with GAA constituents to respond to emerging issues, expanding activities with other related groups, and generating content for GAA’s communications vehicles.

Tom Brenna, PhD

Dr. Tom Brenna is professor of pediatrics, of chemistry, and of nutrition at the Dell Medical School and the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin, and recently Professor Emeritus at Cornell University. He has served on numerous international policy groups, including the 2015 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee.
