On behalf of the Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP) Board of Directors, we are extremely sad to hear about the passing of Mr. John Connelly, President of the National Fisheries Institute. We send our deepest condolences to John’s wife, Margaret Connelly, and his entire family. We are grateful to John for his impactful leadership in the seafood industry over the past 20 years and for his enduring partnership with the Seafood Nutrition Partnership since its founding in 2013.
NFI’S members span the entire seafood supply chain and as a trade association represents its members on issues ranging from public policy, media relations, communications, public health, and nutrition. Over the past twenty years, John has helped to steer NFI through diverse challenges faced by the seafood industry and he has served his membership well.
