Jackie Marks

Jackie Marks leads communications and PR efforts for the Marine Stewardship Council in the U.S., working to engage and educate American consumers and stakeholders on seafood as an environmentally sustainable choice and the role of seafood in the broader sustainable food movement.

Jackie joined the MSC in 2017 and previously worked on communications at several sustainability and conservation-focused non-profits. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Pace University in New York and a dual Master of Arts in International Relations and Natural Resources from American University in Washington, D.C., and the University for Peace in Costa Rica. She is based in Washington, D.C.
